A mixed show of work that delivers a powerfully restorative injection of light, colour and movement to counter even the darkest of winter days.

Bringing together a vibrant collection of paintings and sculpture from Terence Clarke, Philip Hearsey, Julian Mason, Rupert Aker and and Alan Smith, ‘Antidote’ delivers a powerfully restorative injection of light, colour and movement to counter even the darkest of winter days.

Extending beyond escapism, ‘Antidote’ focuses attentiveness to colour and form, reviving a sense of appreciation for these most fundamental of elements, potent as any balm. Rooted in impressionistic observation, the tonic of vivid palettes and tactile surfaces found within the collection create a visual language that feels bright, bold and unapologetically joyful. Reawakening the senses and lifting the spirit, this mixed show celebrates the charged, transformative power of fine art at its very core.
