Stories from Our Street Original painting

Stories from Our Street effortlessly captures the humour, poignancy and legacy which has come to shape Sean Durkin’s career. The characters who inhabit the scene, each with their own story to tell, bring kinship to the stark industrial backdrop. The crafty burglar and watchful policeman are poised customarily, in homage to the now infamous tale of Sean’s father, and his theft of an L. S. Lowry painting.
