After Mina is attacked by Dracula, he curses her with his mark. Van Helsing uses this moment to hypnotise Mina and tries to establish a psychic connection with Count Dracula. This trance allows Mina to provide crucial information about Dracula's whereabouts and movements. Despite the strain it puts on her, Mina's bravery and willingness to undergo hypnosis are pivotal in the group's efforts to track and ultimately confront Dracula.
