Description
Guided by the classical prowess of the Dutch Masters, Daniel Van Der Putten’s Evening at Lockton, North Yorkshire is a sublime, yet subtle rendering of village life. Offset by a bold, magnificent sky, streaked with scudding violet clouds, the little civil parish winds down for a hearty supper and an evening by the fire.
