Wendy Hunt grew up in the south of England and was taught by the sculptor Margot Dent. In her artistic carer she has combined her love of nature and wildlife with sculpture to create meticulous original pieces of art work, using both bronze and bronze resin.
Wendy has exhibited at Christie's, London as part of an international sale. She has raised funds for the WWF and her sculpture, ‘Hares in Snow’ was sold in the Christie's 2007, ‘Sporting Art, Wildlife & Dogs’ auction. Her work has also been sold at Bonhams’ prestigious ‘Sporting Sale’ in both 2012 and 2013.
She has had paintings purchased by The Medici Society and Royale Publications, as well as exhibiting widely throughout the United Kingdom with work in private, national and international collections.
Wendy is a committee member of the Marwell International Wildlife Art Society and exhibits at their annual summer exhibition. Her work has also been shown regularly at the National Exhibition of Wildlife Art, Liverpool.
