Casas was born in Alcoy, Spain, in 1952. He began his artistic career at the Fine Arts School of Alcoy. He is a vocational artist and from a very early age felt the need of painting. He has focused his works on still lifes, his favourite subject, in which he masterly captures the whole range of tones and lights with an hyperrealist result.
Casas understands the hyper-realism with a great simplicity and the quality of his works are fantastic. His participation in well-known exhibitions gives him a good standing and we can highlight the following: - “Sala Sánchez”, 1993 – Sevilla - El Corte Inglés Gallery – Valencia - UNESCO Exposition room – Alicante - Masters Art Gallery – Palma. His works can be found in national and international private collections.
