One in a series of approximately fifty pieces, made over the course of the pandemic. The collection is titled ‘In Dreams I Find You’. Kirsty tells us about this deeply personal series:
“These pieces act as an emotional map for me of that strange period of time. The lockdowns offered something rarely given in our modern world – time. I used this time to rebuild my sense of self, slowly and with care, after experiencing profound grief for the first time. I found a channel opened up inside me, an obstructed river that now flowed as it was meant. It became clear to me that grief is not an end point, but the start of a different life.”
