September is upon us once more, but thankfully the warmth of summer lingers on. Enthralling and utterly immersive, Ben Waddams’ ‘A Magnificent Catch’ perfectly captures this note of celebration. Imbued with energy and poise, the painting is brought to life with exquisite detail, engaging the dazzling display of a Kingfisher, as he emerges victorious from the glittering spray of a wild river. This newest work by Ben is simply exceptional, making for an elegant addition to any collection, or an exciting springboard for new buyers.
It is therefore with great delight that we welcome wildlife artist Ben Waddams to the gallery. Originating from Buckinghamshire, Ben has built an impressive career as a leading talent in his field. This is due in no small part to his passionate dedication to the wildlife he paints. As well as being an active voice in the world of conservation, Ben is considered an expert on natural history, as he continues to speak and raise awareness around the world. His travels allow him the opportunity to observe and photograph the rare and striking animals that inspire his work.
We are equally excited this month to announce the opening of ‘Equestrian Art: Companions and Champions’. From splendid thoroughbreds to magnificent working breeds, this exclusive selection of fine art and sculpture is sure to entrance all horse-lovers alike. Featuring the work of Jacqueline Stanhope, Stuart Herod, David Geenty and Natalie Stutely, the exhibition brings together some of the finest names in British equestrian art. The exhibition runs from Friday 7th September until Sunday 30th, so be sure to plan an early visit to avoid disappointment.
In addition to two striking new paintings by Ben Waddams, the gallery has also received new work from some of the gallery’s most collectable artists, including Edward Hersey, Amanda Jackson, Terry Evans, Richard Telford and Terry Grundy.
