As spring blooms, we are delighted to welcome our clients and friends back into our galleries again. With its pared back palette, softly lit interior and air of intrigue, Tina Spratt's 'In the Light of Day' seems a perfect accompaniment to the gentle easing of Covid restrictions in the UK. Sensual and dream-like, this spellbinding pastel artwork enfolds us into a narrative both tender and compelling.
Having opened our gallery doors earlier this month, it has been a pleasure to see familiar faces and new visitors again. By following the latest advice and guidelines, we have worked to cultivate a safe, clean and welcoming environment for everybody. Our York gallery is open Tuesday to Sunday, from 10:00am to 5:00pm, with our Harrogate gallery open on Wednesdays and Saturdays, from 10:00am to 4:30pm.
If you would prefer to view artwork from the comfort of your own home, why not try our Home Viewing service? This no-obligation service allows you to select one or more original artworks, which can be brought to your home at a time and date that suits you. Artwork can be left for up to two hours while you consider your selection in a relaxing, pressure-free environment. With our full list of services now resumed, it is also an ideal opportunity to take advantage of our expert Restoration service. For details on these, or any other services we offer, visit our Services Page, or give us a call at our York gallery.
Finally, with an exciting flurry of artwork arriving at the gallery this month, alongside Tina Spratt, we have acquired new work by Philip Hearsey, Raymond Campbell, Wayne Westwood, Suzie Emery, Edward Hersey, Jay Nottingham, Andrew Grant Kurtis, Stephen Hawkins and Sean Durkin. As ever, do keep an eye on our Recently Acquired page for updates and newly arrived artwork throughout the month.
We wish you the very best of health and happiness and look forward to welcoming you to our galleries this month.
