As February draws to a close, we extend the warmest of salutations to you all. This month, the gallery excitedly received a spectacular selection of new artwork from twelve of our artists, including Edward Hersey, Raymond Campbell, Gordon Lees and Jacqueline Stanhope, among others. Hersey's 'Farmyard Bustle, North Yorkshire' is a captivating scene brimming with vitality, and Jacqueline Stanhope's 'Shire Horses' (pictured left) is particularly refreshing, the sprinkling of daffodils a pleasant reminder of the swiftly approaching spring.
Furthermore, the gallery is delighted to announce the arrival of work by our newest artist, Martin Leighton. Martin specialises in figurative studies, effortlessly translating his complex subjects into magnificent paintings full of life and emotion.
This month also saw the arrival of paintings by Stephen Hawkins, Les Spence, Jay Nottingham, Wayne Westwood, Wendy Reeves, Terry Evans and Stephen Park. With such a variety of new work, be sure to take a look at our Recently Acquired page to fully explore the range of fine art we have to offer.
We wish you the best, and look forward to seeing you soon.
Yours Faithfully,
The Directors at York Fine Arts.
