With a breeze at our backs and the sun on our faces, we send our warmest greetings to you all. The gallery has been thrilled to welcome visitors back to our York gallery over the past two weeks, and we are now equally thrilled to announce that we will be reopening our Harrogate gallery. From Saturday, the 4th of July, our Harrogate gallery will be open Saturdays from 10:00am-5:00pm, with additional opening days added in the coming weeks. Our York gallery remains open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00am-5:00pm. For those wishing for an even more safe and exclusive experience, private appointments are also available at both galleries seven days a week.
Keeping with this momentum, this month our York delightedly opens its annual Clare Haley exhibition, ‘Clare Haley: Light of Yorkshire’. Through the eyes of her imagination and beyond, Yorkshire artist Clare Haley once again weaves a comprehensive story of the changeable northern landscape as it responds to light and the elements. A show not to be missed, the exhibition opens on Friday, the 31st of July and runs until Sunday, the 23rd of August 2020. Preview catalogues will also be available upon request; so do register your interest with a member of gallery staff if you have not done so already.
New work continues to arrive at both our galleries, so be sure to check our Recently Acquired page throughout the month to ensure you have the first look. But as always, please feel free to register your interest with a member of staff if you would like to be personally notified of any specific new arrivals of interest.
We wish you the best and look forward to welcoming you to our galleries soon.
