It is with the utmost delight that we welcome realist landscape artist Steven Townsend to the gallery. A celebrated British painter with a standout career, Steven’s astonishing depictions of the UK’s wild and unspoiled landscapes have garnered him a following of dedicated collectors and admirers. Steven’s deep connection to the natural world was reignited during the Covid lockdowns, while rambling the rugged fells of the British Lake District. From this time, Steven has embarked upon large scale paintings, reflecting the immense and powerful beauty of his subject. Realised with incomparable detail and exactitude, once seen, a Steven Townsend painting is impossible to forget.
