Feeling revitalised and recentred in these early days of the new year, we brightly continue our stride into 2023. Leading us into the next chapter with a tangible sense of grounded tranquillity is Stephen Park’s ‘Morning Flock’. Alongside a spectacular selection of new artwork and the unveiling of the gallery’s exhibition programme, Stephen’s newest painting is just one of the many delights to be discovered within our February newsletter.
For those who have not yet had the chance to see the gallery’s newest show, our Winter Exhibition continues until 26 February. A season of sleeping transformation, there is a quiet warmth and comfort to be found in the depths of winter. Bringing together a handpicked curation of paintings and sculpture from the gallery's collection, the Winter Exhibition gracefully revitalises and inspires, giving new life and energy to the year ahead. You can view the collection on our website here.
In addition to our Winter Exhibition, the gallery is delighted to reveal an exciting line up of exhibitions for 2023. From annual favourites such as ‘Clare Haley: Light of Yorkshire’ and ‘Sean Durkin: Art for All’ to new mixed shows including ‘Horizons’, ‘Painting the Light’ and ‘Modern Masters’, the gallery’s exhibition programme presents a wide range of work that will resonate with collectors old and new. In addition to our gallery exhibitions, we are also happy to confirm that we will once again be exhibiting at Manchester Art Fair in late November. Additional details about upcoming shows and fairs will continue to be released throughout the year, so do revisit our Exhibitions page and keep a close eye on our monthly newsletter for updates.
The first new arrivals of the year have included work by Stephen Hawkins, Natalie Stutely, Jay Nottingham, Alex Hill, Andrew Grant Kurtis, Terry Evans, Philip Hearsey and Mike Hall, with two new paintings from Clare Haley also expected in the coming weeks. We update our Recently Acquired page on a regular basis, so be sure to check back throughout the month to stay up-to-date with our newest artwork.
As ever, we thank you for your patronage and look forward to welcoming you to the gallery soon.
