After a wintry flurry of snow and ice, we send our warmest greetings to you all. What better way to thaw the frosty chill of February, than Mike Hall’s sun-dappled ‘Chair in the Conservatory’ We imagine the conservatory to be only momentarily vacated, with objects purposefully laid out and a sense of anticipation hanging in the air. With warmth and domestic harmony permeating the scene, Mike’s ambient hideaway casts a spell over the viewer that lingers long in the memory.
This month, though our gallery doors remain closed, it is business as normal, with our online ordering system fully operational and all channels of communication open seven days a week. We have also worked hard to adapt all Gallery Services in accordance with current restrictions. This includes our Consultation Service, encouraging existing and would-be collectors to send us images of the space in their home or workplace they wish to fill with an original artwork. Given the opportunity to gauge furnishings, décor and colour-schemes, our experienced staff will be well-equipped to deliver a specifically tailored service and offer up the best possible options for your space. If you would like to learn more about this service, please visit our Art Sourcing & Consultants page.
With a new array of exhibitions being prepared this month, alongside our annual favourites, there is much to look forward to as the coming year unfolds. For the present, we are satiated by an exciting body of new paintings this month, welcoming work by Mike Hall, Terence Clarke, Carl Whitfield and the ever-popular Sean Durkin, so please do keep an eye on our Recently Acquired page for regular updates.
We wish you our very best for a safe and happy February, and look forward to welcoming you back to our galleries soon.
