A champion of hyperrealist wildlife art, Yorkshire artist Carl Whitfield never ceases to impress with the extent of his precision and the unparalleled calibre of his work.

As the year ahead begins to take shape, the gallery is thrilled to announce an exciting programme of exhibitions over the course of 2018. From our highly-anticipated annual exhibitions such as 'Edward Hersey & Gordon Lees' and 'Clare Haley: Light of Yorkshire' to new shows including 'Tales of the Sea', 'Treasures of the Continent' and 'Equestrian Art: Companions and Champions', the gallery's exhibition schedule is sure to hold something for every collector. So far this month the gallery has received new work by Jacqueline Stanhope, Sean Durkin and Natalie Stutely, and is expecting the arrival of even more new paintings in the coming weeks. These new acquisitions will include work by Edward Hersey, Raymond Campbell and Terry Evans, as well as a few new artists yet to be officially announced.
