February has positively flown; but not without first bringing five superb new paintings by Michael James Smith to the gallery. This collection features various rivers throughout the country, and highlights Michael's astounding ability to capture water with such honesty and finesse.
We are also thrilled to announce the arrival of the charmingly picturesque ‘Walnut Cottage’ by John Haskins (pictured left). This is the first new painting of Haskins' to become available at the gallery for some time, so be sure to view this exceptional piece without delay.
In addition, this month we have acquired a unique, square seascape by Duncan Palmar and two contemporary coastal paintings by John Horsewell. Furthermore, we will shortly be receiving a large number and variety of new works around the end of the month, so be sure and keep your eyes on our Recently Acquired page.
We send you our very best wishes and look forward to seeing you soon.
Yours faithfully,
The Directors of York Fine Arts
