As the days grow shorter and the joy of the Christmas season grows, we send our warmest greetings to you all. With the gallery Christmas tree flanked by a flurry of new arrivals and our Edward Hersey and Gordon Lees exhibition now in full swing, York Fine Arts is feeling most festive indeed. Always eager to spread this seasonal cheer, do let us know if there’s anything we can do to make your or your loved ones’ Christmas that little bit more magical. Whether it’s including a handwritten card, adding a ribbon or simply leaving out an invoice, we are always happy to help.
Here at the gallery, our annual Edward Hersey and Gordon Lees exhibition continues to run until the 28th of December. Bringing together a superb collection of paintings and signed limited edition prints from two of the country’s most collectible landscape artists, the show remains a highly anticipated highlight of our exhibition programme. From warm winter glows to the nostalgic comforts of the countryside, the collection is a seasonal delight for collectors old and new. If you have not done so already, do take a moment to bask in the pleasures of this exceptional selection of fine art.

For those not able to make a visit and hoping to have items shipped in time for Christmas, the last day for orders to the UK mainland is Monday 19 December; for all other overseas shipments, the last day for orders is Friday, 16 December.
Finally, this month has seen the arrival of new work from Ian Rawling, Edward Hersey, Amanda Jackson, Richard Telford, Andrew Grant Kurtis, Natalie Stutely, Alex Hill, Raymond Campbell, Jay Nottingham and Ken Burton, with new pieces also shortly due to arrive from Carl Whitfield and Sean Durkin.
