As the temperatures drop, we send you our warmest tidings and welcome you to the Christmas season once again. In true festive spirit, we invite you to visit our recently opened Edward Hersey and Gordon Lees exhibition, which runs until Sunday, the 11th of December. We would also like to extend a warm welcome to our newest artist, Suzie Emery. Drawing inspiration from undisturbed, ancient places and the vast wilderness, she delicately unveils the mysteries of the natural world in her striking paintings. A painter of both landscape and wildlife, Suzie is a versatile addition to both the gallery and to her future collectors.  

This month the gallery also received new work by Raymond Campbell and Sean Durkin. In the coming weeks, we will also be receiving new paintings from Michael James Smith and Yorkshire artist Clare Haley; so be sure to view our Recently Acquired page to have a look for yourself or perhaps for a loved one. 'Tis the season, after all.

Finally, if you are hoping for deliveries in time for Christmas, the last day for shipped orders from both York Fine Arts and our London dealership, The Colomb Art Gallery, will be Friday the 16th of December. For those wishing to collect directly from the gallery, you may purchase or collect artwork at any time before Thursday the 24th of December at noon.
