The temperatures have dropped and the gallery’s Christmas tree is up, signalling the start of the Christmas Season. Our newest exhibition, ‘Town and Country: A Celebration of British Landscapes by Gordon Lees and Edward Hersey’, is in full festive swing; so do drop by and have a peek before it finishes on the 14th of December.
The gallery is also proud to welcome the work of our newest artist, Ken McKie. Ken’s work brings the everyday beauty of objects to life, making each painting a statement piece for any collection.
This month the gallery acquired new paintings by Edward Hersey, Michael James Smith, Raymond Campbell, Carl Whitfield, Les Spence and a strikingly graceful ‘White Swan’ by Wayne Westwood (see left). Two new signed limited edition prints are also now available, Wayne Westwood’s seasonal 'Winter Robin’ and Michael James Smith’s ‘Spurn Point, East Yorkshire’. Both are published exclusively by York Fine Arts in editions of 65.
We wish you the warmest of holiday tidings, and look forward to seeing you soon.
Yours faithfully,
The Directors of York Fine Arts
