In what seems the blink of an eye, August has arrived and the height of summer shines down upon us once again. After a fantastic opening, Yorkshire artist Clare Haley’s highly anticipated annual solo exhibition continues to awe and inspire, seamlessly immersing viewers into the wilds of the northern landscape. Timeless and atmospheric with a compelling sense of drama, Clare’s newest collection of paintings is nothing short of pure delight. The show runs until Sunday, the 23rd of August; so if you have not yet had the chance to see the exhibition, there is still time. For those unable to make a visit to the gallery, the collection is also available to view online.
As a sense of normality returns, this month the gallery is also pleased to announce that its Harrogate gallery is now open on Wednesdays as well as Saturdays from 10:00am to 5:00pm. Private appointments are available outside of these days and times, as well as at our York gallery for those wishing to take advantage of a more exclusive atmosphere; so if you wish to book an appointment, please do contact the gallery.
In addition to the paintings by Clare Haley, this month the gallery also acquired new work by Mike Hall, Richard Telford, Steve Thoms, Terry Grundy, Amanda Jackson, Alex Hill, Wayne Westwood and Terry Evans. Visit our Recently Acquired page to view these exciting new additions to the gallery’s collection and remember to check throughout the month for any new acquisitions that arrive.
We wish you the best and look forward to welcoming you to our galleries soon.
