With tantalizing glimmers of the warmer months to come, we enter April with a spell of glorious sunshine. An invigorating symphony of bold brushstrokes and vivid colour, Terence Clarkes's 'Wild Pines near Theoule sur Mer' echoes this jubilant spirit of spring. Perfectly balancing the sublime with the tranquil, Terence’s measured, yet fundamentally intuitive style, gifts us an artwork of enveloping warmth.

It is with great excitement that we can announce the scheduled reopening of both our York and Harrogate galleries to the public, from Monday the 12th of April, in accordance with government guidelines. Our York gallery will open on Monday the 12th April to all and from this day on will open Tuesday through to Sunday, with Mondays available for Private Appointment only. Our Harrogate galley will open Wednesdays and Saturdays, or for Private Appointments.  

With the reopening of our galleries, we are able to offer our full list of services once more. This includes our Restoration, Framing and Home Viewing services. This month sees our annual Spring Exhibition in full swing, so be sure to visit this exclusively online collection before its closing date, on Sunday the 25th of April. Not one to be missed, the exhibition brings together a curated selection of original paintings, inspired by the grandeur and abundance of the flowering season.

Finally, we are delighted to have received new work by celebrated Yorkshire artist Clare Haley, with a selection of scintillating landscapes now available.
